nothing overly sensitive about calling out spitefulness. tone is very hard to communicate through text, but there's 0 indication the devs original comment was "playful". the tone of the message actually reads as very blunt, angry and spiteful. you trying to frame this as some sort of pro-spam argument is a poor attempt at trying to reframe the issue, unless of course you're being "sarcastic" or "playful". dev threatened to delay an update because of a few people spamming. that's the part a lot of people have a problem with, including me. not the fact he's deleting spam. stop being disingenuous and dare I say, very cringe. no one cares the dev is deleting spam, it's the spergout he's having in response to it and threatening to delay the game for normal players "artificially" because he made poopy in his permanently sewn on babyfur gaming diaper over internet comments. I get you like the game, so do I, but once the crack you're clearly smoking that caused you to plunge into psychosis and have such a bad take wears off, and you are writhing on your off-white carpet in discomfort, fiending for more crack and slowly returning to the IQ of a non-neolithic lifeform, I am confident your brain will have the capacity to realize your takes are insanely stupid. the dev is very obviously being very child-like and spiteful. threatening people who like your game with purposeful delays because of a few spammers is cringe and !=based. Ok little guy?

removing spam is fine. getting so angry to the point of a spergout and then threatening to delay the release of the game over said spam is not. purposefully delaying an update and holding a game hostage because a couple of people were spamming the comments of an itch.io page is cringe, immature and spiteful. ruining the experience for everyone because the devs feelings were hurt by something that anyone over the age of 12 shouldn't be crying about is the especially spiteful part. dev needs to grow up and you need to as well if you can't see anything wrong with that sort of behavior.
